The sound of green: Acoustic panels from recycled materials
Lisbon acoustic solutions company Vicoustic, has released new and improved panels in their VicSpacer range made mainly from recycled materials and showing improved sound quality in any space.
Founded in 2007 in Portugal, Vicoustic is found in over 80 countries. Producing acoustic solutions in a sustainable and environmentally conscious way, Vicoustic started production using VicPET Wool in 2017.

Since then, the brand manufactured acoustic panels using high acoustic performance VMT with more than 250 tons of plastic waste, an equivalent to roughly 22 Million standard PET bottles (500ml) being recycled.
And now, their newest product is changing the sustainability game, again. VicSpacer Plus is an extra version of this new solution that includes eight extra PET panels, to further improve the performance of the Flat Panel VMT. By using one additional layer of PET to increase absorption, this new accessory will help to overcome the most demanding acoustic challenges, with a sustainable solution made mainly from recycled plastic.
More than just a new fixation system, the latest addition to Portuguese acoustics brand, Vicoustic, proves to be an upgrade to their flagship product, the Flat Panel VMT. Specially designed to improve the acoustics of any room, VicSpacer helps to enhance the Flat Panel VMT performance in the medium and low-frequency regions by spacing the panel 40mm away from the walls and ceiling.
