Recognised as a global innovator for over 50 years, Zip Water’s products are sought after and installed in over 75 countries worldwide, providing homes and workplaces with the purest-tasting, safest and cleanest water possible.

The new HydroTap Classic Plus continues to deliver the convenience of instant boiling, chilled and sparkling water at the touch of a button, delivering instant hydration and convenience to any workplace kitchen and residential home.

Featuring, more intuitive sparkling water activation with button activation on the new antimicrobial touchpad means anyone can now use the product without instruction. These intuitive controls allow the introduction of continuous flow feature to fill bottles, as well as an improved font design to prevent overflow.

With hygiene being at the forefront of everyone’s minds, this new design has the addition of SteriTouch® on the new antimicrobial touchpad providing an added layer of safety and protection by preventing the growth of bacteria.

The new look tap is available in seven ultra-modern finishes, including brushed chrome, matte black and brushed rose gold and is powered by the new G5 command centre, the next generation of smart technology developed by Zip Water. The brand new, smarter command centre features a re-designed Graphical User Interface (GUI) with more instantly recognisable iconography that enables easier customisation of preferred settings, including energy settings like on-off timers, and sleep mode.

Zip Water Marketing and Strategy Director, Mike Abbott, says that the company aimed to create an effortless end-user experience throughout the entire design process for the new HydroTap Classic Plus. “The biggest challenge we faced was looking at how we could make the design of the iconic HydroTap Classic Plus more intuitive, while still maintaining the DNA of our most popular and most recognisable product. We are incredibly proud of the finished product and we are confident our customers will be impressed with how easy it is to use and thrilled with the new look design.”

Sustainability is at the forefront of the company’s production, “We want to see as many homes and workplaces as possible reaping the benefits of the HydroTap, which supports sustainable living, eliminates the need for single-use plastic bottles and declutters kitchens,” says Mr Abbott.

The new HydroTap Classic Plus, powered by G5 technology, is available for order from 1 March in Australia. It will be made available in other markets – including the United States, China, United Kingdom and New Zealand – throughout 2021.
