Created by achieving a perfectly blended composition of mineral and resin, Staron® Solid Surfaces are manufactured from refined bauxite. All impurities are removed to ensure that the material is completely silica-free and then blended with premium acrylic resin. The resulting material is a safe surface alternative to engineered stone, with added benefits such as improved functionality and aesthetic beauty.

DARREN JAMES INTERIORS | Bayview One Residence
Darren James Interiors has had many years of experience working with Staron Solid Surface for their clients’ projects. When the time came for the rebuild of their Bayview One residence, Staron was the obvious choice for husband-and-wife design duo Darren James and Elissa Greer.
Staron was also a feature of the small cottage which occupied the land before the new build took place. Built into the kitchen renovation some years earlier, Staron had served the cottage well and remained in pristine condition. Rather than waste an opportunity to preserve the original design, the team decided to move the cottage kitchen, Staron included, to a new home on a nearby island paving they way for their new project.
Bayview One allowed the team to explore the full potential of Staron and featured it in many areas of the home. The seamless integration of the sinks into the island bench and covered return detail to the backbench offers easy to maintain surfaces free of silicon. Used in vanity applications, the team also took advantage of thermoforming properties for a custom curved vanity.
COOPER SMALL | Sunshine Coast Home
Staron Oceanview adds a touch of warmth throughout this stunning Sunshine Coast home, bringing depth to the space by providing a nice contrast against the white backdrop and gorgeous timber joinery.
Staron in Supreme Oceanview creates an intricate visual landscape. Accentuated with a shadow line to both back and island benches, a practical detail thanks to the quicker installation time it offers for the installation of solid surfaces. A perfect example of combining the seamless joining benefits of Staron for the large island bench with the practicality of the shadow line for the leg-end design.
A perfect colour that is ideal for back lighting with its translucent properties, the Staron Ocean View vanity also provides ambient lighting into the design. Staron, renowned for its water-resistant and exceptional durability features, proves to be an excellent surface choice. Its versatility extends to various applications such as shelving, windowsills, and splashbacks, making it an ideal material for bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry spaces.
RINA COHEN INTERIORS | Client Home
The striking feature created using a dark solid surface colour unfolds within the kitchen of this project undertaken by Rina Cohen. The island begins with a sensuous curve, a testament to the malleability of Staron which welcomes you into the kitchen’s main approach. Staron Steel complements the main benchtop of this kitchen, defined by a powerful granite velvet slab, with edge detailing sculpting the form of a wave.
With darker colours of solid surface suited to the decorative and lower wear areas of a kitchen, the Staron Steel curved feature creates impact within the layered colours and textures of the space. The beauty of the natural world served as heavy inspiration for this project, enhancing the impression of warm coastal sunshine.
KATE ANDERSON DESIGNS | Client Home
The integration of Mario Romano Walls (MR Walls) technology with Staron Solid Surfaces unveils a dynamic and innovative dimension, enabling the creation of seamlessly smooth Staron surfaces and textured Staron surfaces maximizing design flexibility.
Combining Staron with the MR Walls collection truly takes centre stage in this breathtaking project by Kate Anderson. MR Walls is a highly customisable range of designs that are carved in Staron, each design can be tailored to suit the requirements of the project at hand. Making it a perfect fit for walls and joinery, additionally it is suitable for dry and wet walls in both interior and exterior applications.
This project used the boldly textured Flame design carved into Supreme Morning Sky to create a sense of energy and flow. Created using a routing process, the intricate pattern enhances the island bench detailing as well as cladding the existing wall unit.
An Antegra sink was selected to enhance the Island bench, Staron flows seamlessly down into the rebated sides and clad to the internal sides of the sink for an integrated finish to the large island benchtop.
