Energy supplies must be reliable. That’s why the Fronius GEN24 offers an integrated basic backup power supply, which works even without battery storage. With its Full Backup function, the Fronius GEN24 Plus can even back up a home’s entire power supply in the event of a power failure.

Fronius GEN24: with PV Point – an integrated basic backup power supply from a socket when the sun is shining.

Fronius GEN24 Plus: with PV Point – an integrated basic backup power supply – or Full Backup – power for the whole home, even large loads such as heat pumps.

The Fronius GEN24 and Fronius GEN24 Plus also have open interfaces, allowing the optimal integration and management of components from Fronius or third-party suppliers, for a photovoltaic system tailored to the needs of the building.

For those who don’t want to opt for an inverter with a battery, the Fronius GEN24 inverter makes energy self-sufficiency easy. Scoring top marks in service life and next-level performance, whether it’s for electricity, heating, cooling or e-mobility, the GEN24 can be used directly whenever the sun is shining.

With the addition of a battery storage system, energy supplies can be made independent. As a hybrid inverter, the Fronius GEN24 Plus can also be used to self-generate solar power during low-sun conditions, when combined with a battery. With the additional full-back up option, it can supply the entire household.

For those who decide they want a battery later on: an installer can upgrade the Fronius GEN24 to the Fronius GEN24 Plus hybrid inverter at any time with the Fronius UP.storage software upgrade, including the option to connect a battery and the Full Backup option.
