Community Blossoms at Midtown MacPark

The community at Midtown MacPark, developed by Frasers Property Australia, is thriving as the first residents settle into their new apartments. The development’s community development program is in full swing, offering a variety of activities such as gardening groups, beehive workshops, neighbourhood walks, and welcome parties, all designed to foster strong neighbourly connections.

Midtown MacPark boasts exceptional transport links, being just a 500m walk from Macquarie Park station on the Metro North-West line. This station already provides convenient access to the CBD with a change at Chatswood. Later this year, with the completion of the Metro rail line to the CBD, commuters will be able to travel directly from Macquarie Park station to Central in just 20 minutes without needing to change trains. This enhanced connectivity is expected to boost the capital value of properties in the area. According to research by CBRE and PropTrack, apartments near the new Metro lines have outperformed equivalent apartments by five per cent over the past decade.

Stage One of the mixed-use master-planned community has already delivered 765 apartments and four terrace homes, including the Soul and MAC Residences buildings, with another 162 apartments to be completed in the Treehouse building by 2026. Approximately 1,400 residents have moved into Soul and MAC, enjoying amenities such as a communal bush tucker garden, a social enterprise café, and walking paths. A limited number of apartments in these buildings are still available, offering buyers the chance to move into an established community with these amenities already in place.

Frasers Property Australia’s Development Director, Scott Clohessy, highlighted the rapidly developing sense of community at Midtown. “We have a full calendar of community events already in place, from kids’ gardening workshops and neighbourhood walks to fortnightly barbecues and bee workshops to take advantage of our six hives,” he said. “It means all new residents will have a ready-made way to make friends for themselves and their kids.”

The growing community at Midtown MacPark is set to benefit further from increased convenience. Later this year, a Montessori Academy childcare centre for 75 children within MAC Residences will open, followed by a second childcare centre. The NSW Government will also build a 750-student primary school within the community, enhancing educational opportunities and convenience for families.

As the Metro rail line to the CBD nears completion, Midtown MacPark is well on its way to becoming one of Sydney’s most sought-after residential areas, combining excellent transport links, a vibrant community, and a range of amenities that cater to modern urban living.
