Beaumont Tiles names the Ultimate in Italian Stone as the 2025 Tile of the Year

The perfect blend of three natural stones, including two types of limestone – one from Southern Italy’s Puglia region – and the iconic travertine, has seen Beaumonts name its exclusive Crossland collection as the 2025 Tile of the Year.

All recognised for their own natural beauty, the three stones have been uniquely combined in a strikingly realistic emulation in both colour and surface texture with technical characteristics that surpass natural stone to infuse nature, luxury and relaxation into any Australian home.

What’s more, the collection due for release on 6 January , has stone like material strength as a result of the mix of tradition, innovation and technical expertise of world leading Italian ceramic tile supplier, Unicom Starker, who designed the collection.

Crafted in Italy and available in three sophisticated colours enhanced by mosaics and 3D decorations, Crossland embodies the latest innovations in tile technology, featuring precision inkjet printing that delivers hyper-realistic pitting and stone movement.

Beaumont Tiles’ Product Design expert, Darren Brittain, said the detailed and unique design of Crossland exuded a calming elegance, making it a seamless fit for the modern Australian lifestyle.
“While each stone is stunning in their own right, the blend redefines sophistication, “Darren Brittain said. “Just like cheese and wine combined elevates each other to a new level, so too does the fusion of the natural beauty of limestones with travertine.

“It is the ultimate in elegance and endurance united, making it ideal for those seeking to elevate their living space with a touch of nature’s finest artistry.”
Beaumonts gained exclusivity to the range as part of its commitment to scouring the globe for tile trends and the best product for Australian homeowners.
Unicom Starker’s Marco Manfredini said he was thrilled the unique tile collection that took the best elements from timelessly graceful limestone, with the earthy warmth of travertine was selected as the Beaumonts Tile of the Year.

“We tried to create something where three of the best naturally beautiful stones were perfectly blended to create a unique masterpiece,” he said.
