RIDGID releases the K9-12 FlexShaft

RIDGID has released the K9-12 FlexShaft drain cleaning machine. The release is part of RIDGID’s commitment to continual development of technological precision products

Ideal for both light-duty soft blockages and build-ups of grease, the FlexShaft K9-12 is the most compact version of the FlexShaft drain cleaning range. The solution is perfect for sinks, tubs, showers, urinals and floor drains.

The lightweight, portable design is built for 32-50mm drains. FlexShaft cable is spun by attaching a cordless drill (not included) to the input shaft on the housing. As the cable spins, the chain knocker attached will expand to provide wall-to-wall pipe cleaning. The end result is a cleared blockage and the pipe being restored to full flow capacity.

Since the cable spins inside a durable nylon sheath that is housed within a fully contained drum (holding 9m of cable), there is less job site mess. The nylon sheath also allows for the cable to be easily wiped clean as it is pulled from the line.

Additionally, FlexShaft machines allow for inspection cameras to remain in the pipe throughout the entire drain cleaning process for maximum efficiency. Plumbing professionals can watch as they clean, saving valuable time that might be wasted by pulling the drain cleaning machine out to run the camera down and vice versa.

The FlexShaft range also comes with a variety of accessories to tackle different situations. The knockers can be switched out from the standard attachment to a carbide tip or penetrating head chain for a variety of pipe sizes and needs.

The K9-12 FlexShaft comes with a full lifetime warranty against material defects and workmanship.
