Laminex introduces tomorrow’s trends for timber veneers

Laminex’s newest range of timber veneers challenges the traditional timber look

The renaissance of timber in interior design is well and truly here. The revolution is seeing timber becoming the material of choice to add flair, style and sophistication to any interior. Driving this radical new direction is the latest range of Laminex® Timber Veneers.

This latest innovation from Laminex pushes and explores the decorative nature of timber veneers, empowering homeowners to look beyond the traditional use for timber veneers and embrace their design potential.

Rich in character and visual appeal, the four ranges are each bursting with colours and designs to inspire homeowners to express their individuality: Design Timber Veneers (DTV), Finished Timber Veneers (FDTV), FSC Certified Timber Veneers (FSC) and Natural Timber Veneers (NTV).

Laminex Timber Veneers Marketing Manager Vivienne Rosta said the new range bids farewell to the traditional veneer look and provides a sophisticated and stylish alternative to solid wood.

“The new range is the most directional range of timber veneers, spanning a broad spectrum of tones, grain patterns and finishes that will have homeowners and designers using them in ways never imagined.

“Whether it’s a bookshelf, benchtop, coffee table or feature wall, Laminex Timber Veneers will set the stage for looks that are dramatic, modern and stylish,” she said.

The next generation in timber veneer design, Laminex Timber Veneers are created to complement colours and designs in the Laminex Colour Palette and essastone™ ranges, to create integrated interior spaces.

For awe-inspiring home interiors, the DTV Premium Range is designed to provide a consistent, seamless look for beautifully co-ordinated and styled interiors. Nineteen decors in this range redefine the line between warm and cool hues, from the pale Chalked Oak and Blackbutt Wave to a selection of dusky decors like Wild Pecan, Weathered Boxwood and Chalked Slate.

The FDTV range is the perfect fit for demanding interior spaces like lounges and family rooms. Save costs and time with this pre-finished and textured panel, available in 12 colours and finishes like Spotted Gum
Wave and Perugia Rigato, to create timeless spaces that define the mood and feel of elegance and luxury.

Fusing two of the latest interior trends — sustainability and naturalistic tones — FSC Certified panels flaunt the design sensibility of natural timber with a versatile colour palette in both the Classic and Harmony range. The Classic range encapsulates the natural beauty of Mother Nature, with untouched and raw finishes seen in Smoked Oak, Red Heart Gum and American Cherry. Dyed to mirror contemporary design trends, the Harmony range achieves a flawless look with Mocha Oak, Ashen Oak and Tuscan Walnut. The FSC range makes it easy for environmentally conscious homeowners to select materials sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Embodying natural variances synonymous with real timber, the NTV range creates striking residential environments that can be co-ordinated with the Laminex Colour Palette, Laminex Flooring or essastone for an integrated look. The range includes Jarrah, American Oak and Grey Ironbank and can be sequenced matched for a continuous pattern.

Available from April, the Laminex Timber Veneer range can be used across a range of horizontal and vertical applications. All ranges come backed with warranties to ensure timeless looks will be the desire of others for years to come.
